Project Management Director (NYC)

Antefixe is a successful and reputed group international with officers in Europe, in the United Arab Emirates,
and in New York (NY), operating a full-service architectural, project management, and interior design firm
specialized in luxury retail projects. The Antefixe Group has been in this business for over a decade, generating
significant annual revenues, providing employment to over 35 employees and featuring an impressive portfolio
of high-end international architectural projects totaling a budget surpassing $300M for reputed luxury boutiques.

To date, our New York-based firm already handles several construction and renovation projects for high-end
luxury boutiques located throughout the United States. We are now looking for strong team players to assist us
efficiently directing and operating our firm in order to promptly increase our market shares in the luxury retail
industry in the U.S. and Canada.

Our recently launched New York-based firm is looking to recruit an experienced and highly skilled Project
Management Director, with a strong experience in luxury retail construction project management, to direct,
supervise and coordinate our team of Project Managers and Architectural Designer through the monitoring of all
the architectural and construction activities required to direct our Clients’ boutiques renovation, construction,
cosmetic, and/or new store development projects.

The Project Management Director for our U.S. based firm will play a key leadership role overseeing all
daily operations of our assigned projects, from research, development, coordination, and quality control,
ensuring policies, budgets and procedures are abided to. S/He will develop processes that will maximize
performances, safety, quality and productivity. Other duties will include guiding, coaching, and leading the team
members to continuously improve service performance and processes and to implement new methodologies and
technologies; conducting the recruitment; assisting in the onboarding process of new hires and providing training
and educational materials to team members; among others. The Project Management Director will also be
responsible for liaising with the Clients as well as with our foreign offices on a regular basis.

The Project Management Director needs to have proven leadership experience directing all development and
control aspects of an architecture/construction project, preferably specialized in luxury retail, with a
comprehensive technical knowledge of architectural drawings, biding processes, completion reports, bills of
quantities, feasibility analysis, among others. S/He also needs to have remarkable communication, business,
organizational, project management, and budgeting skills with the ability to interact with employees effectively,
persuasively, and tactfully at all levels of the organization.

Required Skills, Education & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management or comparable.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in Project Manager roles or higher, with proven experience & portfolio managing luxury retail projects - must be experienced with project management, budget control,
work progress control, schedules management, technical terminologies and concepts, quality control,
human resources management, processes development, and business development activities. Ability to
analyze and measure the effectiveness of processes and initiatives.
• Must have fluent technical understanding of architectural drawings.
• Must have solid knowledge of the luxury retail market – existing portfolio of clients preferred.
• Must have experience in leading and directing teams of Project Managers and third party contractors.
• Prior experience and proficiency with IT tools and software such as: AutoCAD 2D/3D, Photoshop, and
all Office programs.
• Must be proficient in English and French (write, read and speak) to liaise with the French parent entity –
proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a plus.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead, train and motivate staff. Ability to
work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and in an entrepreneurial culture.
• Good business acumen, hands on leader, strategic thinker, and results oriented.
• Ability to be design and detail oriented with the highest standards of expectations at all phases of work.
• Strong business decision skills with abilities to formulate realistic strategies, policies, and methodologies
to achieve goals.
